Sustainability

Governance

We are driven by a desire to make a difference.

We have joined the Good Homes Alliance (GHA) as a leader member of the action group, to get involved in academic and industry research projects that will help support the aim of net zero homes.

We are also a member of the Future Homes Hub, a community of experts working together on solutions to build low carbon sustainable homes. We are involved in workstreams on Water Efficiency, Bio-Diversity, Future Homes Standards, Whole Life Carbon and the Valuation of Sustainable Homes.

Membership of both these bodies, along with representation on the NHBC, House Building Skills and the CITB will help us in our pursuit of creating sustainable new communities.

Strategy & Reporting

We’re enhancing our approach to data collection and reporting to better inform our decisions and drive continuous improvement across every area of our work.

At untypical, our goal is to make a meaningful impact on the UK housebuilding sector by championing innovation, prioritising sustainability, and putting customers at the centre of everything we do.
