We have an opportunity for a Labourer to join our team working from our Western region and based at our site in Exeter on a permanent basis.  Duties include: Ensure compound and welfare facilities are maintained Ensure all plots under construction are kept tidy by all trades Walk round plots under construction on a daily basis to ensure there are no surplus materials discarded Ensure all waste across the site is segregated and recycled following company guidelines Inspect all on-site signage including all large sale signs, plot signs, safety signs etc., and ensure that signs are always clean and in good repair Carry out all works on site as instructed by the Site Manager, and in line with company standards and procedures Take personal responsibility for Health and Safety on site and report any instances of breaches to the site manager Ensure that all protection of fixed material is carried out by the sub-contractor who fits it, in line with company procedures Ensure that protection of fixed material is maintained to the last possible moment and notify the Site Manager of anyone permanently removing or abusing the protective materials Check show home gardens and public open spaces on a weekly basis and remove any items of rubbish which may have blown onto these areas

We have an opportunity for a Telescopic Forklift Driver to join our team working from our Western region and based at our site in Exeter.   Aim of the post To manage and control the delivery of materials on a residential development construction site and the distribution of materials in accordance with the build programme. Working with the Site teams to meet delivery targets.   Duties include:   Regularly communicate with the Site Manager to keep up to date with any changes to the construction programme Advise Site Manager of any shortages of blocks, bricks and level of silo mix to prevent construction delays Ensure all deliveries are checked for quality and correct quantities when delivered, and record any defective or short deliveries in conjunction with the Site Manager and Materials Controller where applicable Store and label materials correctly in the storage areas supplied Ensure any waste materials are loaded into the correct site skips so waste control can be managed Ensure the forklift is inspected daily for maintenance purposes, and weekly inspections are recorded in the Plant Register Ensure the forklift is clean and roadworthy at all times, and carry out routine maintenance Ensure plant attachments are inspected on a weekly basis and recorded in the Plant Register Ensure safe working practices are adhered to at all times and report any issues directly to the Site Manager Ensure materials are loaded out on platforms to allow for the loading bay gates to be closed at all times

The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced sales experts to deliver an exceptional service to our customers. This post is 5 days a week and includes weekend working. Duties will include: Ensuring show homes are presented to the highest quality Assisting in making the home buying process efficient Build positive relationships with customers and external parties Attending to the needs of visitors, customers and potential purchasers Managing on-site administration Maintain the highest standard of health and safety The role covers a 5 day week with weekend working an element of this.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join a friendly team working from our Western region. Duties will include: Ensuring compliance on site at all times to the company Health and Safety standards and processes, NHBC standards, building regulations, and overall quality standards; Co-ordinating labour and resources on site to deliver the build programme on larger developments, and to proactively schedule in trades to ensure optimum delivery; Undertaking company directed quality control procedures and inspections at the correct timings and rectifying any defects so as not to incur additional cost, time delays, or reduction in the final quality; Monitoring and controlling the cost of production, and approving payment to contractors and trades where appropriate; Initiating and attending plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector or NHBC, taking corrective action to ensure a minimum of RI’s/BRI’s; Carrying out toolbox talks or similar on-site briefings to influence, gain commitment, and to drive best practice; To display a proactive approach to mitigating risk, build sequencing, and overall quality on site; Liaising proactively with other internal departments, externals suppliers and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved; Working with Sales through regular build/ sales meetings to ensure smooth and controlled delivery of homes for customers; To deliver a high standard of site presentation at all times; Carrying out New Home Demos with the Sales Advisor and customer(s) to give a good demonstration of the home, answering any questions, and rectifying any issues before Legal Completion; With the support of the Contracts Manager, ensure the on-site construction team is fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and are provided with full support in achieving these in terms of communication, training and development, and the organisation of the site’s workload and resources; Showing a good behavioural example in all aspects of health and safety, organisation, conduct, quality of work, and professionalism.
