We have an opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join our team and based at our site at Linmere on a permanent contract. Duties include: Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, and directing labour and materials to meet the production programme Work in conjunction with the Sales Team to ensure that regular Build/Sales meetings are attended, all Build/Sales procedures are adhered to, and inspections of all show homes are carried out Accept responsibility for such duties and responsibilities as the Site Manager may determine; and as and when required, deputise for the Site Manager Support the Site Manager in ensuring that the on-site Construction team is fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities Provide full support to site workers in achieving their job responsibilities through communication, training and development, and the organisation of the site’s workload and resources Be responsible or delivering excellent customer service in line with company guidelines Implement and comply with Safety, Health, and Environment policy and procedures, all legal requirements, and established best practice Develop an organisational culture within projects that embodies the company values Establish and maintain the best relationship with the client, through and beyond construction to satisfactory completion, and deliver improved value to the client and company

We have an opportunity for a Labourer to join our team on The Elms, Woolpit housing development on a permanent contract.  Our labourers are key to maintaining safe and tidy building sites as well as supporting the care of materials and waste.  Duties include: Ensure compound and welfare facilities are maintained Ensure all plots under construction are kept tidy by all trades Walk round plots under construction on a daily basis to ensure there are no surplus materials discarded Ensure all waste across the site is segregated and recycled following company guidelines Inspect all on-site signage including all large sale signs, plot signs, safety signs etc., and ensure that signs are always clean and in good repair Carry out all works on site as instructed by the Site Manager, and in line with company standards and procedures Take personal responsibility for Health and Safety on site and report any instances of breaches to the site manager Ensure that all protection of fixed material is carried out by the sub-contractor who fits it, in line with company procedures Ensure that protection of fixed material is maintained to the last possible moment and notify the Site Manager of anyone permanently removing or abusing the protective materials Check show home gardens and public open spaces on a weekly basis and remove any items of rubbish which may have blown onto these areas

The Land Director post is responsible for the regional pipeline delivery to enable the business to hit its overall business growth targets. It is responsible for Land Acquisition, Planning and Partnerships for volume residential housebuilding and provides leadership to develop a high performing culture, living the values and developing a talented regional team. Duties include: To develop and own a regional land strategy, implement, keep up to date and manage the risk to the Region’s land acquisition programme, ensuring that the budget and land replacement requirements of the Company are met Source & acquire new site opportunities (including contract negotiation and obtaining planning permissions) in line with the budget Build strong relationships and promote untypical to the market, specifically Agents, Promoters, Landowners, and Master Developers Clear and concise reporting rhythm as part of the Regional Board Work closely with Commercial, Sales and Construction teams, along with a dedicated Estimator Clear leadership and responsibility for the regional Development Team – growing a portfolio to maturity Obtain IC approvals, Exchange approvals, and Operational approvals from the Board Take responsibility for site funding requirements working closely with Group legal and financial functions Provide and monitor land market activity on a continuing basis, both proactive and reactive in the market to maximise opportunities Deliver on FY budgets (TBO and named sites) in line with Quarterly milestones and FYE Create a deal team ethos delivering pipeline on a project by project basis Secure implementable planning permission on time and on budget Lead negotiations on legal documents including but not limited to acquisition, packages, s106 Ensure value improvement through smart land acquisition, outstanding management of the planning process, and cost efficiency As part of the regional Board, have a clear understanding of other departments’ roles and responsibilities.
