We have an opportunity of Senior Site Manager to join our Central Region on a permanent contract and based at Ransome Road, Northampton. The Senior Site Manager will lead the construction of a development, including all associated pre and post housebuilding works, ensuring that targets are met regarding Health and Safety, delivery to build programme, quality, customer care, and cost.  Responsibilities and Duties  Lead and support a Site Team, both during the pre-construction and construction phases Ensure service delivery meets financial targets and operates within the agreed budget Ensuring compliance on site to the company Health and Safety standards and processes, NHBC standards, building regulations and overall quality standards Undertaking company directed quality control procedures to rectify any defects so as not to incur additional cost, time delays, or reduction in the final quality Monitoring and controlling the cost of production, and approving payment to contractors and trades where appropriate Initiating and attending plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector or NHBC, taking corrective action to ensure a minimum of RI’s/BRI’s Liaising proactively with other internal departments, externals suppliers and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved Co-ordinating labour and resources on site to deliver the build programme, and to proactively schedule in trades to optimum delivery With the support of the Contracts Manager, ensure the on-site construction team is fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and are provided with full support in achieving these Carrying out toolbox talks or similar on-site briefings To deliver a high standard of site presentation at all times Carrying out New Home Demo with the Sales Advisor and customer(s) to give a good demonstration of the home, answering any questions, and rectifying any issues before Legal Completion Working with sales through regular meetings to ensure a smooth and controlled delivery of homes for customers Showing a good behavioural example in all aspects of health and safety, organisation, conduct, quality of work, and professionalism

Aim of the role To oversee efficient and effective financial accounting processes. To ensure the integrity of the general ledger providing robust and well controlled financial information in relation to all of the group’s financial reporting.   Responsibilities and Duties Ensure the group's financial information remains accurate and compliant with accounting standards, company policies and company processes  Support in the completion of financial tasks during the month-end, quarterly, and year-end reporting cycles e.g., closing the ledgers, running reports, updating records etc Provide input into the production of monthly management reports and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring deadlines are met and discrepancies are resolved  Support in the preparation of the annual Budget for multiple business units, including liaising with budget holders and senior management  Lead on the annual group consolidation and support in the preparation of the annual group statutory accounts (including note disclosures) under IFRS Lead in the preparation of annual statutory accounts (including note disclosures) for multiple group entities under IFRS, FRS 101, FRS 102 and Guernsey law  Support in the audit of the group entities, including liaising with external parties (e.g., auditors, tax agents, external consultants etc) and internal stakeholders (e.g., wider group finance, regional finance, and non-finance group departments) Support in the review and approval of daily payments and regular BACS runs, including banking administration support tasks  Support the process for completing annual returns e.g., corporation tax, partnership tax, group relief, HMRC returns etc as required   Act as a senior member of the finance team, providing coaching and development support to the Assistant Financial Accountant  Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Drive improvements in group accounting processes, implementing new processes and supporting ad-hoc projects

We have an opportunity for a Site Manager to join a talented team working from our Eastern region and based at our site in Norwich on a permanent contract.  Our Site Managers lead on the construction of a residential development including all associated pre and post housebuilding works. Ensuring that targets are met regarding Health and Safety, delivery against the build programme, quality, customer service and cost.  Responsibilities and Duties  Manage a construction site, to ensure the development is completed on time, to specification and safety regulations, while complying with company and construction build and quality standards.   Ensure all quality and safety inspections are within quality control standards and carried out in accordance with company guidelines.   Monitoring and controlling the cost of production, and approving payment to contractors and trades where appropriate   Initiating and attending plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector or NHBC, taking corrective action to ensure a minimum of RI’s/BRI’s   Facilitate communication and coordinate activities with external third-parties, such as warranty provider, local authorities and utility companies to ensure achievement of the build programme.  Maintaining accurate records for the development including but not limited to, Staff Inductions, Health, Safety and Environment, timesheets, incident reports, quality control checklists.   Co-ordinating labour and resources on site to deliver the build programme, and to proactively schedule in trades to ensure optimum delivery   With the support of the Contracts Manager, ensure the on-site construction team is fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and are provided with full support in achieving these   Ensure materials are called off in a timely manner and checked and stored in accordance with company guidelines.  Direct and supervise activity of the workforce, including all subcontractors, to ensure works are completed on time, to the desired quality standards and within budget.   Work cohesively with other departments across the Company such as Sales and Customer Care to ensure achievement of targets, for example prompt resolution of customer care issues and timely updates relating to plot progress.
