We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Operative to join a our team working at our Northern Region on a fixed term contract up to 31st December 2026.  This post will cover our North Yorkshire and Teeside developments. Duties include; To carry out general maintenance and repairs to new build properties including associated carpentry, preparation, making good, and other types of internal and external works as instructed by the Customer Services Manager To maintain appropriate and accurate records of time, duration and scope of works undertaken, together with materials and plant utilised on each project To ensure that all works are undertaken in a safe manner, in accordance with good practice and current legislation; Requesting necessary materials and plan as required to ensure effective completion of the works, minimising waste and surplus materials wherever possible To liaise with customers, ensuring they are kept informed on the nature and duration of works to be undertaken, making appointments where necessary and ensuring these are kept To carry out works in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring that the reputation and standing of the association is positively promoted in all dealings To provide a customer focused service at all times To communicate effectively and work productively with all other staff To undertake other related tasks that are reasonably requested by the Customer Services Manager Observe and comply with the company policies and procedures for Health and Safety

We have an opportunity for a Head of Customer Service to join our Northern regional office team on a contract to December 2026. This leadership post manages the Department in the delivery of excellent customer service across our new homes developments in the region. Responsibilities and Duties  Work with construction delivery teams to become familiar with the New Homes Developments prior to handover and leading up to Practical Completion Managing a team of Maintenance Operatives and Customer Service experts Agree customer strategy concerning defects, procedures, priorities and timescales, meeting contractual obligations Assess defects raised and manage the process with sub-contractors and suppliers within contracted timescales gaining customer satisfaction and trust Monitor, track and report upon progress of outstanding defects Manage customer expectations with non-defect related issues Track rectification works are completed with correct quality of workmanship and timescale Maintain regular communication with customers and ensure they are fully updated with the works being undertaken Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety procedures Prepare and issue formal notification letters to sub-contractors, recording any failure to carry out and complete contractual obligations Identify improvements and efficiencies to minimise repetitive defective work issues Ensure contractual obligations are achieved by managing programmes to achieve the timely issue of maintenance certificates Provide monthly progress reports to the Contracts Managers Ensure full retention recovery is received, and any costs during the period are allocated to the Supply Chain or Partner responsible for the defect Track costs incurred vs monies recovered Manage, record and allocate any latent defects for the full contractual period (6 or 12 years) Provide feedback reports to D&B, Commercial and Operational teams on common defects, poor performance detail and poor supply chain performance Contribute to the Business Unit’s targets and objectives as defined and agreed

We have an exciting opportunity for a Telescopic Forklift Driver to join a friendly team working from our Northern region and based at our Site Tanton Fields in East Yorkshire on a Fixed Term basis until December 2026. The purpose of the role will include; Regularly communicate with the Site Manager to keep up to date with any changes to the construction programme Advise Site Manager of any shortages of blocks, bricks and level of silo mix to prevent construction delays Ensure all deliveries are checked for quality and correct quantities when delivered, and record any defective or short deliveries in conjunction with the Site Manager and Materials Controller where applicable Store and label materials correctly in the storage areas supplied Ensure any waste materials are loaded into the correct site skips so waste control can be managed Ensure the forklift is inspected daily for maintenance purposes, and weekly inspections are recorded in the Plant Register Ensure the forklift is clean and roadworthy at all times, and carry out routine maintenance Ensure plant attachments are inspected on a weekly basis and recorded in the Plant Register Ensure safe working practices are adhered to at all times and report any issues directly to the Site Manager Ensure materials are loaded out on platforms to allow for the loading bay gates to be closed at all times Carry out labouring duties as and when required

We have an opportunity for Planning Manager to join a friendly team working from our Western region and based at our office in Exeter on a permanent basis.  The purpose of the role will include; Progressing and managing the planning processes either directly or via consultants to ensure the best opportunity is provided to achieve planning permission to the satisfaction of the Company within appropriate time constraints Provide Town Planning advice and co-ordinate with the land, technical, sales, commercial and design departments to assist with land purchase and planning matters as appropriate Assessing the planning risk prior to land purchase. Overseeing and managing Project Planning Teams Delivering profitable development opportunities to meet targets and programmes as directed by the Company Co-ordinate and manage external consultants as appropriate Consider all planning issues in connection with the land e.g. archaeological, ecological, highways, services, TIA’s, EIA’s, BNG, etc Investigate and consider all planning matters and quantify any risks Where appropriate instruct and liaise with solicitors to achieve satisfactory planning documentation e.g.S106’s etc Co-ordinate and manage any public exhibitions/presentations in connection with planning applications Attend meetings with Parish Councils and other bodies as appropriate. Assess and respond to Committee agendas / reports and represent the Company at planning committees Liaise with in-house or external architects regarding feasibility schemes for strategic opportunities as part of the Project Team. Attend site meetings as and when required Maintain good working relationships with external stakeholders Maintain an up to date knowledge of all relevant planning matters and provide town-planning advice Prepare Project Development assessments as appropriate Co-ordinate with the Land and Planning Director any planning appeals made by the Company and ensure they are run effectively and efficiently Ensure that the Land and Planning Director is advised of all matters at all times
