Local residents and prospective buyers were given a first look inside the new show homes at Wixams during an Interior Design Open Day on Saturday 15 August.

The event marked the launch of new homes from both Tilia Homes and Hopkins Homes, part of the untypical group, at the growing Bedfordshire community. Visitors were invited to explore the newly styled show homes and meet the designer behind its interiors.

Yasmin Ponfield, Business Development Manager at Clayton and Co, attended the event to share the thinking behind the design scheme and offer practical inspiration for visitors’ own homes.

She said: “A show home should do more than look attractive; it should help people picture how a home could work for them day to day. We wanted to create welcoming, considered interiors that make the most of the space, while giving visitors ideas they can take away for their own homes.”

Guests enjoyed complimentary refreshments as they toured the property and spoke to the sales team about the homes now available at Wixams.

Over 110 new homes for sale are planned across the Tilia Homes and Hopkins Homes developments at Wixams, offering buyers a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes. The development forms part of the wider Wixams community, with local schools, shops and leisure facilities nearby, alongside green space including Wixams Water Nature Reserve and its network of greenways.

The new show homes are located on Four Acre Drive, Wixams, Bedfordshire, MK45 3GT, and are open from 10am to 5pm on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Viewings can be arranged with the sales team.
