New show homes open at Foals Meadow, Didcot
Tilia Homes has opened two new show homes at Foals Meadow in Didcot, with ten homes already reserved ahead of the development’s public launch.
The three-bedroom Derwent and four-bedroom Chiddingstone show homes were officially unveiled at a VIP event on Friday 28 August. Emmaus Oxford, Tilia Homes’ chosen charity, cut the ribbon to mark the opening, with Laura Bristow, Fundraising Manager at Emmaus Oxford, attending on behalf of the charity.
The public launch followed on Saturday 29 August, when visitors were welcomed to explore the new show homes and celebrate with a BBQ.
Designed by Kitchen and Co, the interiors of the Derwent and Chiddingstone showcase the bright, flexible living spaces available at Foals Meadow, helping prospective buyers picture life at the development.

Jon Cook, Regional Managing Director for untypical’s Eastern region, said: “We are delighted to open the doors to our new show homes at Foals Meadow and give buyers the opportunity to see the quality and thoughtful design of our homes first-hand.
“Demand has already been encouraging, with eight homes reserved before the public launch. We were also pleased to welcome Emmaus Oxford to officially open the show homes. As our chosen charity, we are proud to support the important work it does in the local community.”

Laura Bristow, Fundraising Manager at Emmaus Oxford, said: “It was a pleasure to join the Tilia Homes team for the opening of their new show homes at Foals Meadow and to cut the ribbon on the day. We are grateful to Tilia Homes for choosing Emmaus UK as its charity partner and look forward to working together on our joint mission to end homelessness.
“We are excited for the opportunities this partnership can create for our Learning and Development programme, offering work experience to people who have experienced homelessness, where they can apply their skills and gain confidence in their new careers.”
Foals Meadow offers a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes to suit a variety of lifestyles. Each home has been thoughtfully designed with bright interiors, flexible layouts and energy-efficient features, including EV car-charging points and air source heat pumps.
The development will also provide £2.4 million in Section 106 contributions towards local healthcare, education and infrastructure.
