Pupils from Willow Grove Primary School helped to officially welcome a new neighbourhood to Wixams as Hopkins Homes and Tilia Homes celebrated the opening of their latest development.

Headteacher Lisa Kennedy, accompanied by pupils Isabelle, Oliver and Lewis, joined representatives from the two housebuilders to mark the occasion and officially declare the development open.

The development is the first project where sister brands Hopkins Homes and Tilia Homes, both part of the untypical Group, have worked together, delivering a collection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes. Guests at the launch event were among the first to explore the new show homes before they opened to the public.

Located within the growing Wixams community, the development offers easy access to schools, shops, children's play areas and everyday amenities, alongside convenient transport links to Bedford, London and beyond.

The opening follows further success for the development, with Senior Site Manager Andy Webb recently receiving an NHBC Pride in the Job Award in recognition of the quality of construction and site management. The development has already generated strong early interest, with 14 homes sold off plan.
